SSRS Report Builder "Application cannot be started, contact application vendor"

The problem might be the application could not be started from your client machine.

If the activation error throws then it would be the problem of your downloaded application has corrupted in your application temporary area.

So follow the below steps to fix.

1) Go to the C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0

Delete the all temporay files.

2) Re launch the application

It will work fine.
